This Is Not A Film Synopsis :

Den anerkendte iranske instruktør Jafar Panahi sidder i husarrest i sit hjem i Teheran. Retten har stoppet hans igangværende filmproduktion og fradømt ham retten til skrive og instruere film i 20 år. Men dommen siger ikke noget om at stå FORAN kameraet… Med vennen og kollegaen Mojtaba Mirtahmasbs hjælp, går han derfor i gang med at fortælle sin historie. Med sin Iphone filmer han sit liv i lejligheden, sine besøgere og det enorme kæledyr, Iguana, som han passer, når han alligevel ikke kan gå ud. Filmen blev smuglet ud af landet i et usb-stik, indbagt i en kage, som blev sendt til Paris og herfra til Film Festivalen i til Cannes. Og således kommer Panahi alligevel til orde...
